• Burton Road School has worked in partnership with Paul Robson on Enterprise challenges for a number of years. They are: exciting, innovative and add a dynamic and unique element to our curriculum. Children can use and apply key skills and link these to real life business situations that help to develop their abilities beyond the classroom. They really do become articulate and erudite young entrepreneurs. The projects are innovative, exciting and children wholeheartedly enjoy the opportunities they are given. Over the years they
have produced some outstanding projects that have been widely recognised, across local businesses and the community, for the standards that have been achieved. Paul, himself, is dynamic &, well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He enthuses and motivates both staff and pupils alike.
The quality of his work has provided an outstanding element to our curriculum and an extra dimension to what we consider to be the high achievement of pupils by the time that they leave our school.

  • The Primary School Enterprise Challenge provided our wonderful children with an exciting and engaging project across two year groups.

The project ensured our children were tested and then developed skills in communication, creative problem solving, self-management and collaboration. These skills are essential for success and prepare children for their future. At West Meadows, we believe we must start building these skills from the Primary age phase which is where the superb Enterprise Team came in perfectly.

Paul & his team have ensured our children are equipped with transferable skills, which will prepare them not just for secondary school but for life. The enterprise challenge experience allows children to gain a flavour of the world of work and possibly sow the seeds for a future career!

I could not recommend the project highly enough!

  • What a  fantastic experience for the children! They were thoroughly hooked from the first minute until the last. The skills of teamwork, communication, resilience, creativity and of course enterprise were central to the challenge.

The staff were wonderful with the children – who visibly grew in confidence and developed skills which they will use throughout their lives. The actual Challenge Awards day is something that will live long in the memories of all who were there.

I cannot recommend the Primary School Enterprise Challenge highly enough.

  • Both yourself & Bekki who came into school were fabulous and the children really, really benefitted from the day. Their confidence grew and there was a real buzz about the school – especially in class four. Further to this, communication at all times was impeccable – no question was left unanswered and we, as a school, felt in the know at all times.

Then there was the enterprise day itself. And what a day it was. From the moment the children arrived to long, long after they left they were blown away – demonstrated by the smiles on their faces, (which wasn’t just because we won) and the confidence they aired.

In our eyes, we couldn’t have asked for anything more and would like to say a huge thank you for the experience. It certainly was worth the money!
